Inside My Make-Up Bag

Following on from my 'What's in my handbag' and 'What's in my carry on' posts I thought I would share the contents of my make-up bag as I always love having a snoop in other peoples!

Firstly, I'll be honest, I don't generally carry a make-up bag everywhere with me.  I generally only throw mascara and a lip balm in my bag most of the time but if I'm going out after work or staying somewhere over night then I will pack a make-up bag.

Starting with the bag itself I have this beautiful one from Aspinal of London which my mum bought me and it matches the Marylebone tote that I have.  It's black leather with purple suede inside which pops out so you can clean it.  It also comes with a little mirror.

So what's inside?  If I'm staying overnight then I'm take my foundation, if I'm going straight from work I won't bother but just touch up with concealer.  I'll then have my trusty powder, bronzer and blush.  As for eyes I like to always have a mascara and eyeliner with me either black or brown.  I will then take one of the Maybelline 24hr colour pots as I find them really good for a wash of colour or as a base.  I'm really into the L'oreal pressed pigments at the moment too especially the iced latte one.  Then I'll choose a lipstick or gloss and maybe a highlighter if I can fit one in, I love anything by The Balm.  For brushes I'll usually have a big powder brush, blush brush and then a blending brush for my eyes.

And that's about as much as I can fit in!  I do like to moisturiser before I apply my make-up but I'll usually put that in my toiletries bag if I'm staying somewhere so maybe I'll do a post on that later to complete this 'bag' series.

What's inside your make-up bag?
